Golden State Steel and Stair, Inc. was created in January, 1994 by Fred and Joan Baker. Fred worked for B&R Steel for twenty years, where he started in fabrication and then moved to ironworks erection. When B&R Steel closed its business, Fred decided to take his knowledge and experience and start his own business.
Our mission at Golden State Steel & Stair, Inc. is to provide quality work on each and every job, no matter how large or small. We are a union ironworker contractor.
